Donovan T. Lundeen, age 77, of Northfield, formerly of Bloomington, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, from pulmonary fibrosis.
He was born Oct. 13, 1930, to Luella and Theodore Lundeen.
Donovan worked in admissions at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, and later as a Realtor in the metro area.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rev. Beverly Lundeen; daughters Patricia (Rev. Glenn Leaf) of Breezy Point, Rebecca (John) Aune of Bedford, Texas, Elisabeth (Rev. Jeff) Sandgren of Fargo, N.D., and Rachel (Rick) Penz of Rochester; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Donovan is further survived by four stepchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn (Dr. Arthur) Aronson of Raleigh, N.C.; cousin Jeanette Johnson of Cokato; and many other cousins and friends.
A memorial service took place Tuesday, June 10 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Bloomington. Memorials are preferred to Augsburg College or Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry.
