Jordan Buckley Morehouse, age 20, of Watertown, died Friday, March 7, 2008, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
He was born Nov. 3, 1987, in Tucson, Ariz., the son of Todd and Jody (Morehouse) Schrupp. Jordan’s young life was cut short by an unfortunate circumstance.
Jordan was cherished and so precious to his family and friends. Some words that come to mind to describe him are strong, kind, determined, loving, compassionate, learning, teaching, helpful, valiant, steadfast, searching, discovering, musically talented, athletic, funny, fun-loving, generous, and forgiving.
Jordan was preceded in death by his father, Todd Schrupp; and grandfather Robert “Bob” Morehouse.
He is survived by his mother, Jody Morehouse and Paul Youngstedt; sisters Dylan and Riley Youngstedt; grandmother Delores Morehouse of Watertown; and aunts and uncles Bobbi Morehouse of Watertown, Bill Morehouse of Eldorado, Texas, Terry Hintze of Eden Prairie, Jeff Morehouse of Watertown, Becky and Matt Boll of Waconia, Holli and Jeremy Arthur of Watertown, and Sam and Craig Engelke of Storm Lake, Iowa.
Jordan is further survived by cousins Jesse Wade, Jackie and Jocie Hintze, Garrett Stubbs, Gabrielle and Gianna Arthur, Olivia, Cody and Carson Boll, Taylor Morehouse, Alyssa, Madison and Brady Engelke; great-aunts Annabel Krawzyck of Spring Lake Park, Virginia Wellumson of Chanhassen, and Lorraine Tussing of Waverly; and other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, March 13 at 1 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown with the Revs. Frank Wampach and Stan Mader as concelebrants of the Mass.
Casket bearers were Garrett Stubbs, Jerrod Felt, Lance Schoenke, Lewis Precht, Jake Morris, Eric Sullivan, Sean Nyman, Joseph Sutalo, Brad Blackketter, Tom Rasche, and Richard Murray.
Arrangements were by the Johnson Funeral Home of Waconia.
