Luke Allen Schultz, age 16, of Watertown, died accidently Friday, Aug. 29, 2008.
He was born May 4, 1992, to Jeff and Karen (Kokesch) Schultz in Waconia.
Luke was full of life. He loved football, wrestling, baseball, snowmobiling, his friends, his family, and especially, his brothers. He enjoyed cheesy fries, chocolate milk, and contests of who could eat the most calico beans among his family members. He looked forward to getting his driver’s license, and to being a sophomore at Watertown Mayer High School.
Luke was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eva Kokesch.
He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Karen Schultz; brothers Jeffrey Jr. and Zachary; grandparents Harold Kokesch, and Harvey and Dorothy Schultz; as well as many other family members and friends.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 8 p.m. at the Watertown Mayer High School gymnasium. The Rev. Kenneth DeFor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown officiated at the services, with private family interment occurring in the church cemetery.
Casket bearers were Jeff Schultz Jr., Zachary Schultz, Scott Christensen, Ken Dallman, Taylor Neaton, Ben Hillman, Tiffany Jessen, and Michael Searcy.
