Howard V. Stark, age 76, of Long Lake, died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at his home.
He was born Feb. 13, 1932, to Victor and Lydia (Aue) Stark in Maple Plain.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Lydia Stark; and his son-in-law, Arnie Roepke.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Charlene; children Gail and Roger Koehnen, Lynn Roepke, Denise Stark, Michael and Amy Stark, Bruce and Sandy Stark, and Steven and Kristan Stark; grandchildren Heidi (Ryan), Beth (Ryan), Paige, Katy, Sarah, Tom, Samantha, Lauren, Alex, and Sonja; brother Richard and Eleanor Stark; and many other loving family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, April 5 at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. George in Long Lake with the Rev. Pat Foley officiating. Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Delano.
Visitation was Friday, April 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church, and continued Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the Mass.
Casket bearers were Jack Peltier, David Peterson, Richard Speeter, Gary Megaw, Walter Raska, and Charlie Kramer.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
