Mary B. Stelzer, age 91, of Delano, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 20, 2008, in Buffalo.
She was born to Clyde and Mary Robertson Aug. 18, 1917, in Montevideo.
Mary later married Henry ‘Bromo’ Stelzer and were blessed with two children, Roy and Henrietta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband, Henry “Bromo.”
Mary is survived by her children, Roy Stelzer and Henrietta Thomas; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was Friday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. at Delano United Methodist Church with visitation for one hour prior to the service. Pastor Matthew Sipe was the officiant. The organist was Margaret Groskreutz, and Nicole Sinkel was the reader. Congregational hymns inlcuded “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Amazing Grace,” and “How Great Thou Art.” Interment was at Delano Public Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Elijah Sinkel, Aaron Sinkel, Jesse Sinkel, and Dustin Vergin.
The Peterson Chapel-Buffalo served the family.
