Warren F. Wolf Obituary – 03/31/08


Warren F. Wolf, age 52, of Waconia, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at his home.

Warren was born Feb. 25, 1956, in Morristown Twp., Northfield, the son of Alvin J. and Margaret D. (Plekkenpol) Wolf.

He was united in marriage to Jane M. Dressen Dec. 19, 1986, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waconia by Father Martin J. Siebenlaler.

A loving husband, dad, son, and brother, family and friends were a very important part of Warren’s life. Some of the activities he enjoyed were boating, motorcycling, fishing, hunting, and Go Kart racing.

Warren was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waconia, where he served as an usher and belonged to the Knights of Columbus.

He revived the conservation club at Waconia High School when it was idle for a period of time, and was a member of Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever.

Warren had a positive impact on the people that he came in contact with. He loved his job with Snap on Tools, seeing the many clients he called on every week.

He was preceded death by his parents, Alvin and Margaret Wolf; an infant brother, Tommy; father-in-law Myron Dressen; and brother-in-law Tom Schwendinger.

Warren is survived by his loving family: wife Jane; sons Chad Wolf and Eric Wolf; brothers and sisters-in-law Gary and Elsie Wolf of North Carolina, Ron and Bev Wolf of Hastings, John and June Wolf of Woodbury, Doug and Tammy Wolf of Shakopee, Roger and Kerry Wolf of New Zealand, and Brian and Heidi Wolf of LeSueur; and sisters and brothers-in-law Bev Wolf of Florida, Sharon and Bob Komorouski of Wisconsin, Nancy and Paul Cluff of Waconia.

He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Joan Dressen of Waconia; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Kathy Schwendinger of Mayer, Jon Dressen and Sandi Becklund of Chaska, Peg and Randy Scott of Carver, and Bob and Brenda Dressen of Mayer; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday April 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waconia with Father Larry Blake as celebrant of the Mass.

Casket bearers were Daniel Wolf, Matt Komorouski, Roxy Wolf, Jeff Schwendinger, Mark Schwendinger, and Kelsey Scott.
