Marian Elizabeth Altendorf, age 81, of Maple Plain, died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009.
She was born Feb. 7, 1928, to Vanard and Elisebeth (Krieger) Eull in Buffalo.
Marian was a lifelong farmer’s wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who had a passion for family, playing cards, and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; and siblings and spouses: Ledena and Roy Varner, Bob and Florence Eull, Mercedes and Al Varner, Bernard and Lois Eull, Ralph Eull, Earl Eull, Danny Eull, Jean and Ed Durant, and Jeanette and Jim Able.
Marian is survived by her children and their spouses, Mary and Ralph Widmer, Rick and Jennifer Altendorf, Roger and Debbie Altendorf, Randy and Ana Altendorf, and Marla and Pete Dubay; grandchildren Danielle and Corey Wangsness, John Widmer and fiancée Becky Smith, Marshall Altendorf, Jake Altendorf, Kayla Altendorf, Matt Altendorf, Amanda Altendorf, and Beth Ann Altendorf; great-grandchildren Luke and Ava Wangsness; siblings Aaron and Cathleen Eull, Kenneth and Zita Eull, and Betty and Bill Conway; and sisters-in-law Jean Eull and Connie Eull.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Wednesday, Dec. 23 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto with the Rev John Gallas officiating. Interment was in St. Mark’s Cemetery in Buffalo.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
