Magdalen Ann Bebo, age 94, of Silver Lake, died Wednesday evening, July 1, 2009.
She was born March 1, 1915, in Winsted Township, McLeod County, the daughter of Lawrence E. and Mary Bayerl Kegler.
Magdalen was joined in holy marriage to Clarence Bebo April 25, 1934, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. God blessed their marriage with four children: Bernice, Wilfred, Margie, and Gerald.
Magdalen and Clarence engaged in dairy farming for many years.
A faithful, lifelong, member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, Magdalen belonged to the CCW.
She is survived by her children: Bernice (Alvin) Navratil of Minnetonka, Wilfred (Elaine) Bebo of Silver Lake, Margie (Bernard) Quast of Winsted, and Gerald Bebo of Silver Lake; seven grandchildren: Tom (Joann) Bebo, Michele (Randy) Vasko, Kevin (Mary) Quast, Karen Quast, Connie (David Hirsch) Quast, David (Sheila) Quast, and Shari (John) Zander; 12 great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Rozella Quast, Viola Bebo, Ken (Patty) Bebo, and Ed (Phil) Bebo; and many other relatives and friends.
Magdalen was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Bebo; a great-grandson Christopher Thomas Bebo; her parents; an infant sister; sisters Loretta Moy, Leona Zachmann, Agnes Schermann, and Sophia Ziebarth; and brothers Alfred and William Kegler.
A Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial took place Monday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday, July 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, with recitation of the rosary at 4:30 p.m., and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m.
Casket bearers were Tom Bebo, Eric Vasko, Randy Vasko, Kevin Quast, David Quast, and Stanley Bebo.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
