CarolAnn (Anderson) Florek, age 60, of Delano, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, surrounded by family at N.C. Little Memorial Hospice in Edina.
CarolAnn served for many years as the office administrator for the Maple Plain Community Church. It was her ministry to support the pastors and to meet the needs of the church family as best she could.
CarolAnn loved to study and to teach the Bible, the Holy Word of God, which she made a life-long vocation. CarolAnn’s spirit now rests with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Randy, children Charles (Olivia) and Matthew (Kristi), granddaughter Charlotte; brother Craig Anderson (Sue); nieces Megan and Chelsie; half-sister Beverley Schmidt, and the children and families of Julian and Beverley Schmidt, formerly of St. Louis Park.
The funeral service took place Thursday, May 28 at 1 p.m. at Maple Plain Community Church in Maple Plain. Interment was at Lewis Cemetery in Independence.
Visitation was Tuesday, May 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Iten Funeral Home in Delano, and continued Thursday for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
