Lloyd Stanley “LS” Heaver, age 60, of Andover, and formerly of St. Cloud, died Thursday, March 19, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 30, 1948, in Denison, Texas, the son of Lloyd William and Hilda Marie Pilantz Heaver. Lloyd was baptized at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes. He was confirmed in the Christian faith at Faith Lutheran Church in St. Cloud.
Lloyd was employed for many years as an over-the-road truck driver.
He enjoyed woodcarving, fishing, watching a lot of sports on TV, and was a good cook.
Lloyd is survived by his four children: Shawn David Heaver, Lloyd Stanley (Jill) Heaver Jr., Gorden Alex (Stephanie) Heaver and Sabrina Heaver; six grandchildren: Torie, Adam, Nichole, Kiersten, Gage, and Kade; a sister, Wendy (Cliff) Duske; two half sisters, Maureen (Allen) Gould and Becky (Roger) Kurth; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robin Heaver in 1973; and by his parents, Lloyd and Hilda Heaver.
Funeral services took place Tuesday, March 24 at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo at 7 p.m. with Pastor Wally Glucklich officiating. Friends called at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. that evening.
The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo served the family.
