Keri Jo Lemmerman, age 48, of Maple Plain, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday April 21, 2009, at her home.
Keri Jo was born Sept. 16, 1960, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Ronald and Mary (Wadman) Meyer.
She was united in marriage to Glen Lemmerman Aug. 2, 1980, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Watertown.
Keri Jo had many passions in life including: decorating, antiquing, and her love for horses, dogs, and cats. She took great pride in gardening, watching the vegetables grow. Keri Jo cherished family get-togethers and going up North.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Esther Wadman, and Ralph Meyer; and father-in-law Alfred Lemmerman.
Keri Jo is survived by her loving family: husband Glen Lemmerman of Maple Plain; sons Ron Lemmerman and fiancée Nicole Dancha of South Lake Tahoe, CA, and Kevin Lemmerman of Maple Plain; mother Mary Meyer of Maple Plain; father Ronald Meyer of Montevideo; brother Jeff Meyer of Watertown; sister and brother-in-law Kelley and Monte Lawrence of Clearwater; grandmother Olivia Meyer of Buffalo; mother-in-law Florence Lemmerman of Maple Plain; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Nancy Crellin of Maple Plain; Nona and John Griffith of Carlsbad, CA; and Faye Mike of Lester Prairie; nieces and nephews Lisa, Dena, Troy, Wesley, Tyler, Chris, Brandon, and Amanda; aunts; uncles; and other relatives and friends.
A memorial service took place Saturday, April 25 at 3 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Watertown Twp., with the Rev. Bill Kirmsse officiating. Interment was at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown, Twp.
Visitation was Friday, April 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, with chapel service at 7:30 p.m, led by Rev. Gail Reitan and Father Frank Wampach. Visitation continued Saturday, April 25 for one hour prior to the service at the church.
