Marietta Emma Littfin, age 85, of Chanhassen, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, after a brief illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. at Saint Hubert Catholic Church in Chanhassen, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Huber Funeral Home in Eden Prairie.
Arrangements are by Huber Funeral & Cremation Services, Eden Prairie Chapel.
Marietta was born and raised in Winsted.
She married Mark (Leo) Littfin Sr. in 1947.
Marietta was a very active member of Saint Hubert’s Parish Community, Chan-O-Liars Chorus, Sjogran’s Syndrome Support Group, and Christian Women’s Club.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Jr. and Derice Littfin of Chanhassen, Michael and Val Littfin of Grand Marais, and Charles and Julie Littfin of Chanhassen; daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Jeffrey Anderson of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Christopher, Jacob and wife Natalie, Kathleen, Beth, Katie, Melissa, and Megan; a great-granddaughter, Allison; sisters Iona and Martin of California, and Elizabeth Roufs of Winsted; brother Frank and Terri Roufs of Winsted; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marietta was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Stifter; and a brother, Cletus Roufs.
