Rodney Harold Paulson, age 45, of Howard Lake, died Sunday, April 26, 2009.
The funeral service is Monday, May 4 at noon at the Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo with visitation for two hours preceding the service. The Rev. Chris Hagen will officiate, and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Casket bearers are Allan Paulson, Aaron Rasset, Kevin Rasset, Jim Karie, Jack Wynn, Ryan Paulson, Cory Pivec, and Dan Van Nurden.
The Iten Funeral Home in Delano is handling the arrangements.
Rodney was born May 29, 1963, to Reginald O. “Rex” and Gloria J. (Christianson) Paulson in Robbinsdale.
Rodney could fix and drive anything. Riding motorcycles, four-wheelers, snowmobiles, and cars with his friends and family was a constant in his life.
Spending time with his sons was Rodney’s passion. He loved the outdoors, especially when it was combined with the people he loved.
Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Reginald; as well as many other family members.
He is survived by his partner, Kimberly Pivec; sons Lucas and Benjamin; mother Gloria Paulson; siblings and spouses Richard and Kim Paulson, Robbie and Lynn Paulson, RoxAnne and Jim Weege, and Greg and Jessica Paulson; nieces and nephews Allan Paulson and fiancée Krystal, Jack Paulson, Ryan and Samantha Paulson, Brad and Walker Weege, Olivia Paulson, Ricky Rae and Wendy Paulson; and uncles and aunts Albert Jr. and Elsie Christianson, Shirley Iverson, Kenny and Bonnie Paulson, Niel and Norma Paulson, Cornelius and Bertha Paulson, Butch and Sue Paulson, Joy Scott, and Carolyn Paulson.
