Bobby Wackler, age 35, of Dumas, NE, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, in Dumas.
He was born June 10, 1973, in Litchfield, to Bobby Emerson and Joyce Othon.
Bobby graduated from Dumas High School in 1992, and played football while in high school.
He had been a resident of Dumas and Moore County, NE since 1974, and was a big fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Bobby was employed as a supervisor in the tanning department at Swift & Co.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Emerson; and grandparents Leonard and Mildred Haglund and Lonnie Bangs.
Bobby is survived by a son, Benjamin Wackler of Dumas; his mother, Joyce Othon of Dassel; sisters Kathy and Jack Eavenson, Jackie and David Garcia, Michelle Watkins, all of Dumas, and Brenda and Albert Tiger of Seminole, OK; brothers Doug and Deletta Wackler, and Dennis and Eva Wackler, all of Dumas; three aunts; two uncles; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was Thursday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Temple Baptist Church of Dumas, with the Revs. J. McGaughy and John Wackler officiating. Interment will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
