Jessica Eve Buboltz, age 20, of Kasota, MN, died Friday, Oct.29, 2010, at her home.
She was born Nov. 29, 1989, in Mesa, AZ to Eve Buboltz. Jessica was adopted by Dawn Buboltz, and they made their home in Mesa, where Jessica was baptized and confirmed.
The family relocated to Minnesota, and Jessica attended schools in St. Peter, Lester Prairie, and Elk River. She graduated from the Ivan Sands High School in Elk River.
Following graduation, she studied the medical assistant program at High Tech Institute, and graduated Oct. 11, 2010. During her education, she was employed at a group home in Elk River.
Jessica recently relocated to Kasota.
She had many outdoor interests, including swimming, camping, boating, Rollerblading, and snowmobiling. She liked to listen to music, and spend time with her family and friends.
Jessica loved her daughter, Emma Rae, was a great mom, and loved to spend all of her time with her.
Jessica is survived by her daughter, Emma Rae Wickland; mother Dawn Kay Buboltz of Buffalo Lake; birth mother Eve Cary Buboltz of Annandale; grandmother Diane Buboltz of Buffalo Lake; sisters Renee Kosek of Hutchinson, and Desaray Buboltz of Foley; nephew Nathaniel Kosek; and by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lloyd Buboltz.
The funeral service took place Friday, Nov. 5 at 2:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake, with interment in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation was Thursday, Nov. 4 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake, and continued Friday for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements were with Hughes Funeral Home in Hector.
