Pamelia Anne Burrill (Pam), age 81, of Northfield, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at the Northfield Hospital.
She was born May 31, 1928, in Hawley, MN, to Henry and Anne Burrill.
As a young child, Pam attended Hammer School in Wayzata. Later, she resided at the Faribault Regional Human Service Center, and then moved to Canby Court, a MSOCS home (MN State Operated Community Service) near Northfield.
Pam was genuinely happy and a friend to many. She delighted in singing and listening to music, especially while in the company of others.
As a member of the Trondhjem Lutheran Church in Lonsdale, MN, Pam enjoyed the fellowship of those around her. She was always happy to see her family, friends, and caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Anne; a brother, Charles; and a sister, Harriette.
Pam is survived by her twin sister, Cornelia (Connie), of Dassel; seven nieces and nephews; and all her wonderful caregivers who enabled her to live a joyous and happy life.
A memorial service took place Saturday, Feb. 20 at 1:30 p.m. at the Trondhjem Lutheran Church in Lonsdale, with visitation one-half hour prior to the service. Memorials preferred to Trondhjem Lutheran Church.
Arrangements were with the Boldt Funeral Home in Faribault.
