Elaine F. Carlson, age 82, of Minneapolis, formerly of Dassel, died Saturday, May 22, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Nyman; husband Harvey; son Daniel; and a sister, Rita.

Elaine is survived by her children, Georgette (Ken) Korkowski, Dennis (Lorelei), Mary (Mike) Dwinnell, David, Amanda (Brian) Murphy, Paul (Brenda), Harvey, John (Dawn), Joe (Debbie), and Elizabeth; 29 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, May 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Odilia Catholic Church in Shoreview. Interment was at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation was Wednesday, May 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Holcomb-Henry-Boom-Purcell Funeral Chapel, and continued Thursday for one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.
