Loree G. Dobratz, age 76, of Watertown, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at her home.
She was born July 12, 1934, in Watertown, the daughter of Elmer and Eunice (Lundquist) Johnson.
Loree was united in marriage to Duane D. Dobratz June 26, 1954, at the Evangelical Free Church in Watertown.
A loving wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma, Loree loved music, bowling, painting, crafts, and was an avid reader.
She was the organist at the Methodist church in Mayer, and the pianist at the Oster Covenant Church in Waverly.
Loree was preceded in death by an infant son, Jon; her parents, Elmer and Eunice Johnson; and a nephew, Roger Dobratz.
She is survived by her loving family; husband Duane Dobratz; children Michael (Nancy) Dobratz, Paul Dobratz, all of Watertown, Linda (Richard) Johnson of Mound, and Steven Dobratz of Watertown; grandchildren Daniel Johnson, Jesse and Jackie Johnson, Chris and Mandy Johnson, and Lynda Dobratz; great-grandchildren Amber, Landon, Oscar, and Sydney; a sister, Yvonne Johnson of Watertown; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Harlan and Carolyn Dobratz of New Germany; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service took place Saturday, Aug. 14 at 11 a.m. at Oster Covenant Church in Waverly with the Rev. Robert Ramphal officiating. Interment was at United Cemetery in Mayer.
Visitation was Friday, Aug. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.; and continued Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service.
Casket bearers were Daniel Johnson, Jesse Johnson, Chris Johnson, Lynda Dobratz, Robert Dobratz, Cindy Dobratz, Mandy Johnson, and Jackie Johnson
