Charles E. Johnson, age 75, of Howard Lake, passed away suddenly Monday, Oct. 25, 2010.
Charles is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie; sons, Jerod, Mark (Betty), Randall (Michele), and Darren; seven grandchildren, Amy, Melissa, Adam (Trista), Christine, Blake, Alex, and Elizabeth; two great-grandchildren, Chance and Hayden; a sister, Adell (Donald) Mumford; a brother, Robert; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Myrtle Johnson; and siblings Doris Johnson, Beverly Kelly, and Walden Johnson.
Charles lived and farmed in the Howard Lake-Cokato area his entire life. Though his death was sudden, the love he nurtured in family and friends will last an eternity.
The funeral service was Friday, Oct. 29 at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Cokato.
Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato, and continued Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Arrangements were by the Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato.
