George O. Kladifko, age 87, of Shakopee, formerly of Golden Valley, died Saturday, April 17, 2010.
George served with the US Army during WWII, and retired after many years at World Aero Space.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce; and a brother, Everett Kelsey.
George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who will be missed by his loving wife of 13 years, JoAn; daughter Sandra Bergum of Brooklyn Park; son James (Kay) of McCallah, AL; six grandchildren, Jamie and Kelly Bergum, and Joshua (Crystal), Rachel, Jonathan, and Joel Kladifko; great- grandson Michael Kladifko; sister Neva Adickes of Delano; three stepchildren, Jinnea Zarate, Ron (Martha) Anderson, and Tom (Donna) Anderson; 10 step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service took place Friday, April 23 at 11 a.m. at Washburn-McReavy Eden Prairie Chapel, with visitation for one hour prior to the service, and also from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Interment was at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
