Ronald Thomas Lenneman, age 77, of St. Michael, died Monday, July 12, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Delano.
He was born in Frankfort Township, Wright County, Oct. 13, 1932, the son of Henry and Helena Haffner Lenneman.
Ronald was joined in holy marriage with Delrose Vetsch Oct. 16, 1954, at the Church of St. Albert in Albertville. God blessed their marriage with a son, Gordon.
Ronald, along with his brother, Richard, engaged in dairy farming west of St. Michael for many years. He was still farming the land until he had a major stroke in 2008.
Ron was a lifelong, faithful member of the Church of St. Michael.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Delrose C. Lenneman; his son, Gordon (Laura) Lenneman of River Falls, WI; grandsons Mitchell and Neil; sisters and brother, Muriel (Ermin) Schumacher of Albertville, Marion Lenneman of St. Michael, and Richard (Margery) Lenneman of Albertville; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helena; and a brother, Howard.
A Mass of Christian Burial took place Friday, July 16 at 11 a.m. at the Church of St. Michael in St. Michael.
Visitation was Thursday, July 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church, and continued Friday, July 16 one hour prior to Mass.
Honorary casket bearers were Ronald’s two grandsons, Mitchell and Neil.
Casket bearers were Greg Lenneman, David Vetsch, Ed Vetsch, Kenny Lenneman, Dennis Lenneman, and David Schumacher.
