Helen Marie Neaton, age 89, of Watertown, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Suite Living in Champlin, MN.
She was born March 9, 1921, in Galveston, TX, to James and Nellie Sullivan.
Helen married Donald Neaton in 1945, and they made their home in Galveston until 1977.
Upon retirement, Helen and Donald moved to Minnesota and settled in Watertown.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents, James and Nellie, her brother, James, and her sisters ,Margaret and Patsy.
She is survived by two sons, James (Linda), and Dennis (Joan) Neaton; a daughter, Donna (Will) Bobb; grandchildren Jeffrey (Emberly Nesbitt) Neaton, Matthew (Lisa) Neaton, Sarah (Karl) Kussow, Christi Neaton, Michael (Mary) Neaton, Katherine Bobb, and Brian Bobb; and great-grandsons Daniel and Christopher Kussow.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Watertown, with visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Timothy Cloutier celebrated the Mass, with interment in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Watertown.
