Elsie M. Roehl, age 92, of Loretto, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at the Haven Homes in Maple Plain.
She was born March 3, 1918, in Wayzata, to Reed and Christine (Scherer) Keesling.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard.
She is survived by her children, Jim and Darla Roehl, Larry Roehl, and Ann and Lennart Holm; grandchildren Tim Roehl, Todd and Heidi Roehl, and Amie and Jeffrey LaMott; five great-grandchildren, Parker and Carson Roehl, and Spencer, Riley, and Drew LaMott; and a sister-in-law, Toots Becker.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, Nov. 11 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto with the Rev. John Gallas officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Visitation was Wednesday, Nov. 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, and continued Thursday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the church, prior to Mass.
Casket bearers were John Branson, Tom Branson, Eddie Keesling, David Rogue, Joe Becker, and Adam Arens.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
