Dorothy M. Swalboski Obituary – 7/22/2010


Dorothy M. Swalboski, age 84, of St. Peter, formerly of Watertown, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at the Grandview Care Center in St. Peter.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown with the Revs. Frank Wampach and Phil Schotzko concelebrating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation was Sunday, July 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Iten’s Watertown Funeral Home, with a 3:30 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. prayer service; and will continue Monday, one hour prior to the Mass at the church.

Dorothy was born Nov. 12, 1925, to Joseph and Rose (Halfman) Pollard in Popple Creek, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Swalboski; daughter Sharon Falk; three infant children; parents Joseph and Rose Pollard; and brothers Lester Pollard and Leonard Pollard.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Marie and Robert Cebulla, Mike and Donna Swalboski, Diane and Ron Schroeder, Darlene and Terry Vos, Sue and Gregory Haggenmiller, Veronica and Don Johnson, Doug and Joanne Swalboski, and Brenda and Stephen Conroy; 27 grandchildren: Jason and Melissa Cebulla, Theresa and David Wilson, Aaron Cebulla, Lisa and Roy Judd, Todd Cebulla and Katie Wespetal, Brian Swalboski, Michelle Swalboski, Katherine Swalboski, Joseph Swalboski, Jennifer Swalboski, ShanniRae and Clyde Roberts, Jennifer and Rodger Gresczyk, Lindsey Schroeder, Charles Johnson, Travis Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Charlene and Mike Forcier, Thomas and Tracy Worm, Debbie and Brad Schmitt, Christopher and Amber Haggenmiller, Jermiah and Ericka Haggenmiller, Catherine and Mike Kamps, Nicholas Haggenmiller and fiancé Victoria; Samantha Conroy, Joshua Conroy, Jacueline Conroy, John Conroy; step-grandchildren Amy and Dan Vos, Eric and Bonnie Vos; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She is further survived by brothers Phil and Ruth Pollard, Ted and Phyllis Pollard, and William and Margaret Pollard; and sisters-in-law Caroline Bolz, Julie Hennek, Julie Swalboski, and Jean Kaeding.
