Beverly A. Waddell Obituary – 2/23/2010


Beverly Ann Waddell, age 59, of Little Falls, formerly of Howard Lake, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls.

Beverly was born Sept. 13, 1950, in Little Falls, to Frederick and Philomena (Dengel) Heurung. She attended Mary of Lourdes School and graduated from Little Falls High School.

Beverly was united in marriage to Richard Waddell June 1, 1968, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Little Falls. They made their home in Howard Lake for 34 years, before moving back to Little Falls in 2008.

Bev worked as a certified nursing assistant, and as a lead for Wagner Spray Tech in Plymouth, until retiring in 2003. She loved her babies, gardening, friends, and cookbooks. Bev also enjoyed fishing on Lake Superior and traveling.

She was a member of Little Falls VFW Post 1112 Ladies Auxiliary.

Bev is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters Tammy (Mark) Hulett of Buffalo, and Barbara Waddell of Little Falls; grandchildren Trent and Madison Hulett; brother Robert Heurung of Little Falls; and sisters Judy (Keith) Anderson of St. James, and Florence Piekarski of Little Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bruce; four brothers; and five sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday, Feb. 27 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Mark Innocenti officiating. Burial was in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls.
