Delphine A. Webb Obituary – 4/12/2010


Delphine Ann (Knoll) Webb, age 79, of Cokato, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at Lakeside Health Care Center in Dassel.

She was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Silver Lake.

Delphine married Jay Webb Dec. 28, 1949. Jay and Delphine made their home in Cokato, and were blessed with five children.

A very vibrant woman, Delphine loved to cook, bake, garden, camp, go to garage sales (she enjoyed having them, too!), fish, crochet, play bingo, socialize, entertain, spend plenty of time with family and friends, and lend a helping hand to those in need.

She worked for Tonka Toys for more than 20 years, and was the driver of a carpool for a group of others who also worked there.

Delphine will be sadly missed, and is survived by her husband Jay Webb, Sr., Cokato; children Jay (Cecilia) Webb of Cokato; Conrad (Shari) Webb of Annandale; Lyle (Jane) Webb of Cokato; Debbie (Bob) Mochinske of Winsted; and Loren Webb of Cokato; grandchildren Tracy Webb (Chad Anderson), Jammie Webb, all of Cokato, Jess (John) Lauritsen of Maple Grove, Holly (Tim) Friel, Kelly Webb (Rob Moe), all of Cokato; Jason Webb of Buffalo; Heidi Holly, Josh Webb, both of Cokato, Jackie (Darrel) Borka of Hutchinson, Laura (Jason) Overstreet of Virginia Beach, VA, and Bobbie (Paulo) Saghi of Hutchinson, KS; 14 great- grandchildren; and twin sisters, Arlene Knoll and Darlene Knoll of Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Irene Knoll; infant brother George Knoll; brother Stephen Knoll; and sister Stella Kosek.

Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, April 15 at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake, with interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Silver Lake.

Visitation was Wednesday, April 14 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Honorary casket bearers were Ernest Kosek, Jr., and Larry Walz. Casket bearers were Jason Webb, Joshua Webb, Randy Knoll, Darrel Borka, Jason Overstreet, and Paulo Saghi.
