Russell P. Wildermuth Obituary – 11/3/2010


Russell P. Wildermuth, age 55, of Waconia, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, of multiple myeloma and neuropathy.

Russell was a member of the Local 49ers, and worked for Northwest Asphalt for 14 years.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Judge Arlo and Evelyn Herring, and William Sr. and Laura Wildermuth; father William Jr.; uncle Dennis Wildermuth; aunt Lois Dodge; and Janet’s son, Kyle Stubbs.

Russell is survived by his loving partner of more than 20 years, Janet Stubbs of Waconia; mother Barbara Wildermuth-Hyde of Arizona; best friend, John Gothmann of Waconia; aunt Evelyn Wildermuth of Eden Prairie; aunt and uncle Dorothy and Dave Lilly, and uncle Chuck Dodge, all of Washington state; cousins Lori Wildermuth of Eden Prairie; Ann Caples and Julie Bauer of Washington state; Janet’s sons, Curt and Shelly Stubbs of Lester Prairie, and Scott and Roxanne of Las Vegas; Dorothy and Dave Lilly of Renton, WA, Chuck Dodge of Bellevue, WA; cousins Ann Caples and Julie Bauer; and more friends than one could imagine.

A celebration of life took place Sunday, Nov. 14 at the Waconia VFW from 1 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Ridgeview Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
