Mark B. Blazinski, 52

Mark B. Blazinski, age 52, of Silver Lake, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at his residence.

He was born May 13, 1959, in Hutchinson, the son of Clemens and Judith Matousek Blazinski.

Mark graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1977. Following graduation, he attended Hutchinson Vo-Tech for auto mechanics.

Mark was joined in holy marriage with Debra Kosek June 1, 1985, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie. God blessed their marriage with three children.

Mark was formerly employed at Holt Motors in Cokato as an auto mechanic for 25 years.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie.

Mark would have celebrated his 30th sobriety anniversary Jan. 20, 2012.

Mark loved his family!

He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, hunting, and visiting with people.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debra; children Giles Blazinski (Laura), Sarah Blazinski, and Amy Blazinski, all of Silver Lake; a granddaughter, Summer; his mother, Judy Blazinski of Silver Lake; brothers and sisters, Greg (Julie), Phil, Linda Bray, Laurie (Lyle) Cuhel, Leone (Scott) Anderson, Jim, Brian, Brad (Sandy), and Chris; father-in-law and mother-in-law Clarence and Doris Kosek of Silver Lake; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dale (Jolene) Kosek, Linda (Dale) Kovar, Jo (Larry) Vandesteeg, Jim (Shelly) Kosek, Sue (Steve) Yurek, Betty (Dale) Wraspir, Margie (Chad) Fronk, Gary Kosek, and other relatives and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his father; and three brothers: Michael, Jeff, and Jeremy.

Funeral services took place Friday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie with the Rev. Eric Nelson officiating. Interment followed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation was Thursday, Dec. 1 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie from 4 to 8 p.m., and continued Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
