A memorial service for Brad will take place Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Finn’s Place, 421 Ash Avenue North in Mayer. Everyone is welcome to wear their leathers, celebrate Brad’s life, and toast him with a Premium.

Brad was born Nov. 11, 1953, in Lakefield, MN, to Duke and Lauretta Frantsen. He attended Chaska High School, and entered the Army in 1971. He was honorably discharged after serving two years in Kansas and in Germany.

He had a son, Dustin, with Melanie Mattson Oct. 29, 1972.

Brad married Rachel Shanahan Sept. 26, 1998.

Brad and Rachel shared a love of riding their Harley. On three occasions, they were fortunate enough to share time together and embark on month-long cross-country journeys.
