Jeff Leonard Gueningsman, age 46, of Winsted, died Saturday evening, July 30, 2011, at the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice House in Chaska.
He was born Dec. 22, 1964, in Winsted, the son of Leonard and Elaine Rehmann Gueningsman.
Jeff was joined in holy marriage with Kay Michaletz May 12, 1990, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie. God blessed their marriage with a daughter, Annie.
Jeff enjoyed being out in the shop working on his vehicles. His passion was his Chevelle in the early years, and later, he enjoyed building and working on his pulling trucks and tractor. He and his wife enjoyed 23 seasons of truck and tractor pulling all over the Midwest area.
He also enjoyed being with his daughter, Annie, who was the light of his life.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Kay Gueningsman; a daughter, Annie Gueningsman; his mother, Elaine Gueningsman of Lester Prairie; sisters and brothers, Jo (Fritz) Lukes of Lester Prairie, Jean (Tim) Sicheneder of New Germany, Jim Gueningsman of Winsted, Jerry (Cindy) Gueningsman of Lester Prairie, and Jody (Linda) Gueningsman of South Haven; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Larry and Cathy Michaletz of Lester Prairie, and JoAnn and John Anderson of Orlando, FL; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Gueningsman; his grandparents, Frank and Margaret Gueningsman, and Gilbert and Viola Rehmann; and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ruben and Lorraine Michaletz.
Funeral services took place Friday, Aug. 5 at noon at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted.; followed by interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery in

Honorary casket bearers were Jeff’s brothers and brothers-in-law: Jim Gueningsman, Jerry Gueningsman, Jody Gueningsman, Fritz Lukes, and Tim Sicheneder.
Casket bearers were Kipp Trebesch, Kipp Trebesch Jr., Dean Terning, Doug Haines, Adam Meuwissen and Justin Schelitzche.
