Faye W. Kwilinski, age 67, of New Hope, formerly of Howard Lake, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at St. Therese Nursing Home in New Hope.
She was born Jan. 11, 1944, in Worthington, to Ernest and Luvilla (Dittman) Vaux. Faye grew up in Brewster, MN.
She married Ronald Kwilinski June 1, 1963. They moved to Minnetonka, where they raised their two children, Joline and Tjaart, before retiring and moving to Howard Lake.
Faye enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, reading, and eating burritos at Taco John’s. Spending time with her grandchildren, Luke and Jack, was very special to her.
She is survived by her son, Tjaart Kwilinski; daughter, Joline (Dan) Castaneda; grandchildren Luke and Jack; a sister, Darlene (Al) Paskert; nieces; nephews; friends; other family members; and her cat, Larry.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; parents; and a sister, Patricia Cassens.
A memorial service took place Sunday, Aug. 14 at 4 p.m. at Swanson Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake, with a time of gathering one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
