Larry O. Osgood, age 60, of Delano, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011.
He was born Sept. 23, 1950, in Minneapolis, to George and Pearl (Anderson) Osgood.
Larry was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed deeply by his friends and family.
He worked for 35 years in the auto body business. Working on cars was easy for Larry, because he loved all aspects of them.
Other loves of his life was spending time with his family and friends, fishing, the outdoors, and time with his cherished pets.
He was also an accomplished pianist who loved to share music.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, George.
He is survived by his mother, Pearl; brother Orville (Pam) Osgood; nieces Tammy (Gary) Gutzke, and Sara (Doug) Warren, and families; as well his special companions, Cabitha, Rocky, Drummer, Samantha IV, and Skittles.
Funeral services took place Saturday, March 5 at 11 a.m. at Maple Plain Community Church with Pastor Gregg Donnelly officiating. There was visitation for one hour prior to the services in the church. Interment was in the Delano Public Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Doug Warren, Gary Gutzke, Larry Wadell, Troy Reyes, Mike Goldberg, and Bob Babcock.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
