Jefferey Paul Richardson, age 42, of Dassel, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, at his home.
He was born March 1, 1969, in St. Paul, to Edwin and Kathleen Richardson. Jefferey attended St. Bernard’s, and graduated from the Pelican Rapids High School in 1988.
He married Syneva Moen at the Hawley Lutheran Church Dec. 30, 1989.
Jeff graduated from Northwestern’s Focus program with a degree in business administration May 2011, an accomplishment he was very proud of.
His pride and joy were his children, Ethan and Hannah. Jeff worked hard for his family, and enjoyed watching his children’s activities and spending time with his wife and kids. He also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Syneva; his children, Ethan Richardson (significant other, Shauna McFarland) of Dassel, and Hannah Richardson of Dassel; mother, Kathy Richardson of Brooklyn Center; brothers Dr. Ed (Kim) Richardson of Kansas City, MO, and Mark (Sarah) Richardson of Blaine; mother-in-law Ruth Moen of Hawley; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by his new puppy, Annie.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Richardson; his father-in-law, Bennet Moen; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A funeral service took place Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel, followed by interment at the Dassel Community Cemetery.
Visitation was Friday evening, Nov. 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel, and continued Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
The Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel handled the arrangements.
