Elizabeth M. Rippberger, age 92, of Buffalo, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the Lakeridge Care Center in Buffalo.
She was born May 18, 1918. in Browns Valley, MN, to Henry and Anna (Schommer) Thielges.
Elizabeth was a kind, loving, caring person who touched the hearts of everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; a son, Joseph; and brothers Joe and Peter Thielges.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Mary (Larry) Rassatt, Florence (John) Lantto, Jim (Carol) Rippberger, Kathy (Butch) Motzko, Lucille (Milo) Ordorff, Rose (Randy) Hughes, David (Suzanne) Rippberger, Ed (Bonnie) Rippberger, Margaret (Ken) Justen, Betty (Ron) Nalewaya, and Sheila (Jerry) Pearson; 35 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Rose Mary Stermer, Mary Thielges, and Clara Cianci.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday, March 12 at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly, with visitation one hour prior to Mass in the Parish Center. The Rev. Timothy Cloutier was the celebrant for the Mass, and interment was in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
