Carol Rohling, age 45, of Hutchinson, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at the Hutchinson Community Hospital.
She was born Aug. 2, 1966, in Winsted, the daughter of William and Martha (Kieser) Rohling.
Carol lived in Duluth for over 30 years with special friends Gordy and Judy Atol and their family. She enjoyed any and all sports, playing cards, and spending time with animals, especially the house dog “Farley.” Carol also enjoyed music and dancing, swimming, going for walks, coffee, Diet Coke (no ice), and her red fingernail polish.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Rohling, Jr., in 1985.
Carol will be sadly missed by her mother; Martha Rohling; her brothers, Melvin Rohling of Roseville, and Steven (Karry) Rohling of Winsted; nieces Julie Rohling of Redwood Falls, and Karen Rohling (fiancé Jordan Snell) of Winsted; nephew Steven Rohling, Jr. of Winsted; godparents Joe and Janice Kieser of Winsted; special friends Gordy and Judy Atol and family of Duluth; and other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Friday, Sept. 16 at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Father Tony Hesse was the celebrant for the Mass, and interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
