Erlyne Jean Rorick, age 71, of Dassel, formerly of Kingston, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at the Lakeside Health Care Center of Dassel.
She was born Dec. 3, 1939, in Roundup, MT, the daughter of Clarence and Esther (Alt) Gray. Erlyne grew up in the Roundup area, and graduated from Roundup High School in 1957.
She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, and had been a Sunday school teacher for numerous years.
Erlyne was united in marriage to Patrick Rorick Nov. 22, 1958, in Las Cruces, NM. They made their home in Montana from 1958 until 1961. In 1961, they moved to California, where they resided until 1973, when they moved to the Kingston-Dassel area, where they have made their home since.
Erlyne is survived by her husband, Pat Rorick of Dassel; children Kirk Lee Rorick of Cokato, and Kent Edward Rorick of Cherokee, OK; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and a brother, Edward Gray of Dapper, UT.
She was preceded in death by a son, Keith Ray Rorick, in 1983; her parents; and a brother, Richard.
Interment of the urn will take place at a later date.
Arrangements were by the Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel.
