Sheila Ann (Sundblad) Ryan, age 57, of Phoenix, AZ, died Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, in Phoenix.
There will be a local memorial service Saturday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at North Crow River Lutheran Church, Cokato. A memorial service also took place Saturday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. at Phoenix First Assembly Church, in Phoenix, AZ .
Sheila was born March 12, 1954, in St. Paul, to Clifford and Erma Sundblad. She grew up in French Lake Township, and graduated from Annandale High School in 1972.
Sheila married Robert Ryan in 1975, and they resided in the Annandale area until they relocated to Phoenix in 1983.
In 2005, they moved to Lindsborg, KS, where they owned the Viking Motel. Then, in 2010, Sheila and Bob moved back to Phoenix to be closer to their four children and grandson.
Sheila worked at Lifecare Center of North Glendale, AZ for over 12 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; their four children, Steven, Jennifer, Jonathan (Brittney), and Katherine Ryan; grandson Conner, and expected grandson, Parker, all of Arizona; her father, Clifford (Florence) Sundblad, of Cokato; brother Allen (Carla) Sundblad of Annandale; and in-laws Fred and Barbra Ryan.
Sheila is further survived by a sister in-law, Crystal Azizi; niece Shabnam Rodosta; nephews Yoseph Aizi and Philip Sundblad; and several aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Erma Sundblad; nephew Jacob Sundblad; and uncles Jack Rogers and Wayland Anderson.
