Adeline brought a keen intelligence and commitment to parenting and family life, to her many friendships, to church, and community activities. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown for over 46 years.

A generous hostess, Adeline also loved bridge, golf, swimming, and travel. She and Louis swam three mornings a week and golfed into their middle 80s.

Adeline was a woman of great beauty, dignity, humor, and integrity and remained vigorous and engaging to the end of her days.
