Cynthia Marie Borrell, age 55, of Buffalo, formerly of Waverly, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, dedicated to her family and loved ones. Cindy would always give her time and energy to support her family, no matter what else she had going on or how she was feeling.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, motorcycle rides with Gary, and any time spent with family. Cindy had a competitive spirit and enjoyed playing cards and other board games, which she rarely lost. She was loved by many, and will be missed by all.
Cynthia is survived by sons, Benjamin (Rochelle) Borrell of Waverly, and Tom (Bridget) Borrell of Shakopee; daughters, Kelly (Ben) Vogelpohl of Winsted, Beth Borrell of Waverly, and Barbara (Nicholas) Wegner of Winsted; stepdaughter, Jacklyn (Ray) Wurm of Buffalo; grandchildren, Dylan, Isabella, Emelia, Reid, Axel, and Weston; sisters Linda Rosenberger of St. Paul, Sandy Frame of Inver Grove Heights, Marsha Bakko Coletta of Carlsbad, CA, Pam Krawetz, and Mary Bakko, both of St. Paul; and her significant other, Gary Booth of Buffalo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Russell Bakko; and a sister, Patricia Wilshke.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly.
Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church, and continued Wednesday, one hour prior to Mass.
Arrangements were handled by the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
