Kamia “Kim” Louvenia Butler, age 43 of Delano, formerly of Maple Plain, died suddenly Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012.
She was born Jan. 8, 1969, in Watertown, to Gerald and Barbara (Sikes) Lundgren.
Kim was a fun-loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with family. Everyone she met, she loved. If she met a stranger, they weren’t strangers for long.
Kim was preceded in death by her infant sister, Dawn Marie.
She is survived by her husband, Edward “Ed” Joseph Butler; mother Bobbi Lundgren; father Jerry Lundgren; sister Nola Lundgren; parents-in-law Michael and Mary Butler; niece and nephew Kori Osina and Jake Butkevicius; as well as many aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many cousins.
Memorial services took place Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 11 a.m. at Park Assembly Church in St. Louis Park, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the services.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
