Anne B. (Bronder) Czech, age 95, of Delano, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at the Park River Estates Care Center in Coon Rapids.
She was born Dec. 10, 1916, in Woodland Township, to Frank and Ella (McNeely) Bronder.
Anne attended and graduated from Montrose High School.
She was a lifelong resident of the Delano area, and a lifelong member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church. Anne was active in her church when she was able, and loved being a part of church community.
She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anne was a homemaker, and also worked outside of the home, being employed at Green Giant and the Delano Flower Farm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Valentine “Val;” siblings John, Leo, and Joe Bronder, Emily Vossen, Margaret Babatz, and Mary Janikula; and a son-in-law Marlyn Tonsberg.
Anne is survived by her daughters, Delores Tonsberg, Barbara (Donald) Berens, Shirley (Gordon) Marquette, Sandra (Bruce) Ostenson, Linda Czech, and Rita (Paul) Christiansen; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Wednesday, Oct. 10 at St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church in Delano, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation was Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, with a 7 p.m. prayer service; and continued Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to the Mass.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
