Nathan J. DeBolt, age 33, of Cokato, formerly of Staples, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, in Rapid City, SD.
He was born Aug. 1, 1979, in Golden Valley, to Robert and Joan (Pogreba) DeBolt. Nathan attended grade school at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Staples, and graduated from Staples High School in 1998.
Nathan married Melynda “Myndy” Carlson May 22, 2004, in Staples.
They moved to Cokato in 2005, where Nathan was a welder for M and W Manufacturing.
Nathan loved spending time with his family, and fishing with his boys. He liked to hunt, go four-wheeling, and spend time with his friends. He and his family loved to go to the family’s cabin in Wahoo Valley.
Nathan will be sadly missed by his wife, Myndy; children, Daniel, Ashton, and Sophiya; mother, Joan; sisters Gayle (Tom) Trowbridge, Debbie (Terry) May, and Antonitte Keskey-DeBolt; nieces and nephews Eric, Taylor, Alaina, Damien, Amanda, Blake, Nathaniell, and Torrence; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; a brother, Daniel; and his grandparents.
Services took place Friday, Aug. 24 at 11:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Staples.
