Elizabeth Jeanette Felska, age 88, of Hutchinson, passed away peacefully Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at her home.
Elizabeth’s passions in life were her faith and church, her family, and her home. She enjoyed gardening, and everyone looked forward to her canned pickles and peaches.
After retiring from 3M, Elizabeth was an active community volunteer for over 30 years.
She is survived by her children, Beverly and husband Larry, Brian and wife Linda, and Kenny; grandchildren Wade, Derek, Dan, and Jill; and her sisters, Delores Schulte, Dolly Anglin, and Adelle Jenike.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth; father Joseph Satterlee; mother Gerda Satterlee; a sister, Marvel Lincoln; and brothers Marvie, Orval, and Pat Satterlee.
Funeral services took place Monday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Hutchinson, with the Rev. Paul Baker officiating. Organist was Joyce Piehl. Soloist Jake Oswell sang “Always There,” and “How Can I Keep From Singing.” Congregational hymns were “How Great Thou Art,” “In The Garden,” and “Amazing Grace.” Interment was in the Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Casket bearers were Derek Felska, Wade Felska, Dan Falska, Jill Felska, Sarah Felska, and Larry Lesko.
