Terry Lee Fischer, age 55, of Cokato, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital from complications following a heart transplant.
Terry was born April 5, 1957, to Harold and Elinor (Setrum) Fischer.
He graduated from Willmar High School, University of Minnesota for architecture, and Willmar Vocational School for mechanical drafting.
Terry married Becci (Rousseau) May 3, 1997, at Bethel Lutheran Church, Willmar.
He worked at Christenson Systems in Blomkest, HTI in Hutchinson, and Cummins in Fridley. In these places of employment he was a drafter/designer.
Terry was a member of Good Shepherd Free Lutheran Church in Cokato.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and going on motorcycle rides with his wife, Becci. He also enjoyed watching sprint car races, and got a lot of joy from his pets.
Terry is survived by his wife, Becci; mother Elinor Fischer of Big Lake; sister Vicki Radaeke and husband John of Buffalo; many nieces and nephews; and his pets, Emma Rose, Oc and Slaven.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Fischer.
A private memorial service, officiated by the Rev. Lynden Korhonen, took place at Good Shepherd Free Lutheran Church in Cokato.
