Annella C. Hoffmann, 77

Annella Clara Hoffmann, age 77, of Winsted, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Regency Hospital in Golden Valley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, April 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted with Father Tony Hesse as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted is serving the family.

Annella was born June 13, 1934, in Winsted Township, McLeod County, the daughter of John A. and Clara Sterner Fiecke.

She was joined in holy marriage with Raymond Hoffmann Oct. 10, 1953, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. God blessed their marriage with five children.

Annella and Raymond farmed for many years five miles southwest of Winsted. Annella later cooked at the Alice Haney Home in Lester Prairie, and worked at Green Giant, Edco, and at the Parish Center for Father Wyffels.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, playing cards, crossword puzzles, cooking/baking, singing and playing the organ. Annella loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, Annella sang in the choir. She also belonged to Holy Family Council 204.

Annella is survived by her children, Linda (Marvin) Jungels of Watkins, David Hoffmann of Foley, Bob (Terry) Hoffmann of Winsted, Tom (Beverly) Hoffmann of Silver Lake, and Mary Ellen (Mike) Nemitz of Hutchinson; grandchildren David Hoffmann and Cathy (Dean) Kraemer, Matthew and Wendy Hoffmann, and Nicole, Stephanie and Ryan Hoffmann; great-grandchildren Dylan, Katelyn and Shelden; a sister, Sidora Koch of Winsted; sisters-in-law Alvina Fiecke, Shirley Fiecke, and Leona (Tom) Drew, all of Winsted, and Alberta Fiecke of Cold Spring; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Hoffmann Sept. 21, 2006; her parents; an infant brother, Cletus Fiecke; infant sisters Rita and Mary Fiecke; and sisters and brothers, Rosella Hertzog, Lawrence Fiecke, Marietta Fasching, Marvin Fiecke, and Virgil Fiecke.
