Stephen F. Libor, age 77, of Andover, formerly of Delano, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Monday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St., Anoka, followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery, Anoka.
Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 18 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home in Anoka, and will continue Monday, one hour prior to Mass at the church.
Stephen was born Feb. 28, 1935, in Delano, to Peter Paul Libor and Mary Theresa (Kittock) Libor.
He was a retired service manager of an auto shop.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Joan (Mohs); children, Cheri (Robert) Karrow, Lori Mevissen, Michelle (Leigh) Erickson, Lynnette (Jeff) Neubauer, Steven (Denise) Libor, Kathy (Tom) Vaudrin, Melissa (Rory) Hagman, and Joe (Nanci) Libor; 24 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings Genevieve (Alfred) Annett, Rosella Hudson, Annette (Larry) Thielen, Mary (Mike) Dongoski, and Paul (Joan) Libor; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Mary Libor; and siblings Clem, Ed, Marion, Art, Elizabeth, Lawrence, George, Gerard, Delores, Anna, and Peter Jr.
Memorials are preferred.
