Patricia L. Mueller, 63

Patricia L. “Pat” Mueller, age 63, of Watertown, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at the North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

She was born June 16, 1949, in Watertown, the daughter of Richard and Betty (Lee) Johnson.

Pat was a graduate of the Watertown High School.

She was united in marriage with Bruce Mueller Dec. 19, 1967, at the Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.

While Bruce was stationed in Vietnam, Pat attended beauty school in South Carolina. When Bruce was discharged from the Army, the couple moved to Watertown.

Pat worked at a few beauty salons before opening her own shop in her Watertown home, which she operated for over 10 years.

She had also worked for Young America Corporation, Gage Marketing, Archway Marketing, and DeLux Golf Cars.

Pat enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting, and crocheting. She enjoyed being active in her daughters’ lives and cherished the time spent with them and her grandchildren.

Pat loved her dog, Izzy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Betty Johnson; and her father-in-law, Wilmar Mueller.

She is survived by her loving family, husband Bruce Mueller of Watertown; daughters and sons-in-law Michelle and Daryl Barfnecht, and Rebecca and Chad Bettcher, all of Watertown; and grandsons Brett Barfnecht, Tyler Barfnecht, and Brody Bettcher.

Pat is further survived by a sister, Gail Bodine of Watertown; brother and sister-in-law Richard and Linda Johnson of Detroit Lakes; mother-in-law Orla Mueller of Watertown; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Joyce and Rick DeNomme, Duane and Joann Mueller, all of Watertown, and Vicki and the Rev. Robert Hagen of Coal Valley, IL; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service took place Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Watertown with the Rev. William Kirmsse officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia, and continued Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Serving as casket bearers were Brett Barfnecht, Tyler Barfnecht, Mike DeNomme, Paul DeNomme, Noah Mueller, and Jed Bodine.
