Diane D. Berscheid Obituary – 11/7/2013


Diane D. Berscheid, age 56, of Buffalo, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013.

She was born June 14, 1957, in Buffalo, to Harlen and Marilla (Marquette) Frykholm.

Diane graduated from Buffalo High School in 1975.

She worked as a circuit board operator for Universal Circuits in St. Louis Park for over 25 years. She was also employed as a punch press operator at HSI Metal Stamping in Buffalo.

Diane married James Berscheid June 7, 2003.

She truly loved being a grandma; her grandchildren meant everything to her. Diane also enjoyed garage sales, gardening, landscaping, craft shows, and auction sales.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harlen.

Diane is survived by her husband, James, of Buffalo; daughters Tabatha (Brian) Borski, Candi (Erik) Stumne, and Angela (James) Ottenstroer, all of Buffalo; grandchildren Sabrrina Osberg, Mackenzie Ottenstroer, Kohl Borski, Mason Borski, Ethan Ottenstroer, and Hannah Stumne; mother, Marilla Frykholm of Buffalo; brothers and sisters, Douglas (Jan) Frykholm of Howard Lake, Shelly (Steve) Nelson of Annandale, Steve (Teresa) Frykholm, Treina (Robert) Richards, all of Buffalo, and Tammy (Clayton) Prestidge of Waverly; godchild and niece, Stephanie Korbel; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service took place Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Buffalo, with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. at the church. Interment was at Swedesburg-Marysville Cemetery in Waverly.

The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo handled the arrangements.
