Harley James Danielson, age 64, of Litchfield, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.
A memorial service will take place Wednesday, March 20 at 3 p.m. at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel. The interment will take place at a later date at the Dassel Community Cemetery.
There will be a time to gather with the family one hour prior to the service at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel.
The Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel is handling the memorial arrangements.
Harley was born April 7, 1948, at Meeker County Hospital in Litchfield, the son of Lowell and Dorothy (Nyberg) Danielson. He was baptized at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church as an infant.
Harley grew up as a young child in Dassel before moving to Cambridge, where he lived for several years. He then moved to Willmar, and for the past 26 years, has resided at the Lutheran Social Services Home in Litchfield.
Harley was deeply loved by his family and the staff and residents at his home in Litchfield. He will be missed by his family and his friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Craig (Joelle) Danielson of Redlands, CA, Marcie (Rick) Svare of Pelican Rapids, and Jim (Jodi) Danielson of Cokato; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and other relatives.
Harley was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Dorothy Danielson; and a sister, Julie.
