Mary Margaret Diederich, age 70, of Big Lake, formerly of Howard Lake, died peacefully surrounded by her family Friday, April 5, 2013, at her home.
She was born in 1942, in Green Bay, WI, and believed that “once a Packer fan, always a Packer fan.”
She was a resident of Howard Lake from 1976 to 2006.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Tuyls; her brother, Paul Tuyls; and son-in-law, Peter Sand.
She is survived by the love of her life, Harold (married 52 years); her children: Gale (Robert) Bakeberg, Kara (Kevin) Reiser, Mary (Matt) Douglas, Jana (Roger) Quast, and Jeanette Sand; and 12 grandchildren; Jason, Jacob, Jared, Mitchell, Andelee, Jackson, Brandon, Aaron, Evan, Derek, Briana and Lucy.
In addition to her love for the Packers, Mary enjoyed walleye fishing up north, sewing for the kids and grandkids, flower gardening, horses, and traveling in “the bus.” She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Private interment per her request at Allouez Cemetery in Green Bay, WI.
Arrangements were handled by the Cremation Society of MN in Brooklyn Park.
